Samantha M. Joyce is a Curatorial Assistant at the Harvard Plate Stacks, where she contributes to research, exhibition planning, and collection care. She was part of the team that completed the 20-year-long DASCH project and has supported major programs, including Aura Satz: Her Luminous Distance and Historic Change: Celebrating the Life and Legacy of Dr. Vera Rubin.

In 2025, Samantha participated in the Art Intensive Bogotá with All About Curating (AAC) and The Art Dome, where she deepened her understanding of Colombia’s art ecosystem and its global impact. This experience reinforced her commitment to making art accessible to diverse audiences and strengthened her practice of connecting art to broader cultural contexts.

She earned her Master’s in Museums, Galleries, and Contemporary Culture from the University of Westminster in London and a Bachelor’s in History from the University of Massachusetts Boston.

Beyond her curatorial work, Samantha teaches Art History at a local community center and serves as a freelance curator, developing projects that explore the intersections of art, science, and cultural history across the greater Boston area.
