Kayleigh MacDonald is a Curatorial Assistant with the Harvard Plate Stacks, where she assists in the digitization and preservation of 19th-century glass plate photographs. Her role combines high-level archival handling, metadata organization, and imaging techniques—including multi-spectral imaging—with public-facing duties such as leading exhibition tours and managing researcher requests. She enjoys working with artists who visit the collection and was part of the team that concluded the 20+ year digitization initiative [DASCH](https://dasch.cfa.harvard.edu/).

Kayleigh received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from Virginia Commonwealth University, School of the Arts.

Outside of the Plate Stacks, Kayleigh teaches photography courses and maintains a personal art practice rooted in intersectional explorations of nature, community, and image-making.
